Begin Again

1. Though the outer man is changing, the inner man is being renewed.

So we are not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There's far more here than meets the eye. 2. Hope is the conviction that, because God has invaded this world in the person of Jesus Christ, the best is yet to come.

3. Memories connect us to the past, but hope connects us to the future.

May the God of hope fill you with great joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 NIV

4. Hope doesn't depend on our circumstances.

All of them were filled with the Hooly Spriit and bagan to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Acts 2:4 NIV

5. Our hope is in the nature and character of a loving and powerful God.

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order tht you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints. Ephesians 1:18 NIV
