Don't forget!! If you are like me, and you have been forgetting to bring your coats for kids...this is our last chance! Bring them and put them in the big box by the info table. Let's help the Whitehouse Small Group meet the needs of chilly children.

College Age Group

This is a small group for young adults. We meet Wednesday Nights 7:15 @ Vineyard for worship, talk, coffee, etc. Come as you are. You will fit right in, and you will love it here!

Busy During the Week?

Maybe you are so busy during the week that you have not been able to come to a small group, even though you know you'd love it. Well, the newly-formed Sunday morning small group may be just the thing for you. We are starting a new study this next Sunday at 9:30, so this is a perfect time for you to join us downstairs at Julians!

Thanks for your prayers for my hand. I had surgery this past Friday, and it went well. Typing is painful but it's supposed to be therapeutic, so here I go. Remember when Paul said look at the letter I have written with my own hand? (He had eye trouble I believe.) Well, along those same lines ... look at the blog I am typing with my own hands! Thank you Jesus! and thank you Vineyard friends for your prayers.

Youth Mexico Christmas Outreach !!

Service Outreach - Help Needed!

The Sunday School Small Group has had an overwhelming response form the residents of the Salvation Army Retirement Village!!

Meet us at the church at 12:30 if you can help. We will leave from there. It is on Golden Road in Tyler. We will do things like weed small flower beds, plant flowers, clean ceiling fans, wash dishes, and wash windows.

HELP!! There are just a few of us and we can't get it all done. We really want to bless these sweet people.

CLEAN THE CHURCH

If you want to do something but are not sure what or when, contact Jerome. Actually, this is what is really needed...2 teams to clean on Sunday and 2 more for Saturday. No matter what you can do, please contact Jerome and let him know you'd like to help. The more people who pitch in, the better it is for everyone.

Coats for Kids

Doesn't your heart just break when you think of cold children? Well, there is a super easy way to show God's love to the "least of these."

Check your closet for those seldom/never used coats and just bring them to the Vineyard. You do not even have to take them to the cleaners. (But you could do this: pray for the kid who will end up wearing it!) There is a large box by the info table.

Thanks to the Whitehouse Small Group for sponsoring this outreach to the community. They will take care of dry cleaning and delivering them.

Imagine, YOU can help some shivering little munchkins have clean, warm coats to wear this winter! You will also be helping those struggling parents clothe their kids.

I think Mother Teresa said something like this, "In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love."
