Crisis Pregnancy Center - Free Training

The center really needs the help of women who would be available for 4 hours per week, have a heart for God and for women in need. Also needed are women to teach parenting skills to young mothers.

The training is on this Friday, Sept 28th from 6:30 to 9:00 pm and Saturday Sept. 29th from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, at 5th St. Presbyterian Church.

Snacks and lunch will be provided.

Friday September 28th at 7:30 here at the Vineyard. "First Place" is a program for those who desire balance physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually through Christ Jesus. This will be the Orientaion meeting (which is required before beginning the class.) WHAT AN OPPORTUNITY ! What have you got to lose? (You may be surprised!)

I think that our theme should be "Once cool, Always cool," but I have not run that by any of the other Vintage Vineyardites yet :-0

Extreme Makeover in Kidz Church!!

Hey y'all!! Lisa wants to change the theme for the Kidz wing to Jungle Exploration !!
She needs 1 person to work with her to design the room, some people to work with her on collecting supplies, a team to draw/paint, and a couple of people to rearrange furniture and supplies.

Now I bet you fall into one of those categories!! For some of those requests, you just need to be alive, not necessarily artistically inclined. Any help, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and will not go unnoticed by the Father!

Let's make this a team effort and help Lisa as she selflessly gives week after week for the young'uns. Seems like I remember a scripture about helping the little children come to Jesus...hmmm....

Bring your favorite grill items, as well as chips, drinks etc.
Ther retreat center has a swimming area, volleyball area, basketball area, goof around area and a playground area!!
Now here is how to get there...from Tyler...
Go Hwy 110 South to 346 and turn left. Go to 848 and turn left. Continue on 848 and you sill see signs on the right leading you to the Retreat Center.

40 Days of Community

~IT IS TIME~
During 40 Days of Community we will work together to deepen our understanding of how God uses other people, specifically others in our church family, for our good and our growth. It will also show us how God can use us to reach out and bless others in their lives. We can do this through our participation in small gorups, which will be the most essential part of 40 days of Community. We will be re-launching all our small groups this week!

There are 7 small groups, and at least one of them is perfect for you.
